Untitled #107

So… apparently Valentine’s Day is only a few days away? How did that happen?! It seems like just yesterday we were talking about New Year’s... oh wait, wasn't that my last post? Haha. Anywhoo, today's post is all about 5 Simple DIY's you can make for the loved ones in your life. These DIYs are so simple and perfect for last minute gifts for your significant other, best friend, next door neighbor, adorable kids, grandparents, or basically anyone who likes a present! Which is basically everyone :)

FOR THE FOODIES: DIY Cupid Crispies

These delicious treats are perfect if you're planning on throwing a last minute Valentine’s Day party or have a friend who loves to indulge in sweets! The best thing about this recipe is how you can use chocolate Rice Krispies to play up the common "strawberry" and chocolate theme Valentine's Day.

FOR THE COFFEE ADDICT: DIY Travel Mugs

Let’s face it, we all have that one girl friend who’s addicted to coffee. You know who I’m talking about, the one who can locate Starbucks in 5 seconds and know exactly what it takes to create the perfect cup of Joe. Yup, we’re talking about the coffee addict friend, and this DIY is the perfect gift for her because it’s unique and useful!

FOR THAT SPECIAL SOMEONE: Paper DIY Fortune Cookies

The other day I was browsing online for cute ways to send love notes and came across this adorable DIY. Not only is this a lovely way to tell that special someone how much they mean to you, but it’s also very easy to make! And if you know me I'm all about simple DIYs that wont end up on the infamous Pinterest fail list.

Special Tip: Try leaving the paper cookies in random places, like on their desk, near the coffee maker, in the car, etc. Leaving notes in unusual spots will give them something nice to read throughout their hectic day.

Sometimes handmade gift wrap can get expensive, so why not make your own? It’s a unique way to add some flare to any gift, even if its last minute. Side note: how cute the little kisses? Exactly, simple adorable.
